Full Name: Lynn Katherine Salisbury.
Age: (16-19 only, sorry) 17.
Gender: Female.
Description (Physical):
Lynn had long brunette hair which reaches until the middle of her back, and deep emerald green eyes. With thin, wide lips, she can form a smile which is said to light up a room. She’s about 5’5” tall and has a slim, strong build, which gives people the impression of a very innocent and fragile girl. Emotionally, she may be. But physically, she’s not. (I suck at this, sorry.)
Personality: Lynn is a closed book when it comes to personality. She’s quite friendly, maybe even fun to be around. But when it comes to other things, like what’s inside of the book, you notice it’s been locked for years now. 17 years now, to be exact.
She’s sweet and girly, but lonely. She’s never really had someone to talk with about what was going trough her head, accept for James. Therefore, she became a bit scared of what fate could do to you. You could say, what happened to James broke her. And she is constantly trying to pick up the pieces, when someone comes along and shatters them around again. But on the other hand, she’s unpredictable, demanding and feisty too. The idea of being able to take care of herself created itself in her head during her entire life. She lets nothing stop her from what she wants to do, whether those things are good or bad. She can be tough too, though she kind of covers that up most of the time. She’s a solitaire person, but loves to be around people too, when she thinks she can trust them. She often doesn’t trust people because there had been a lot out there who she trusted, and when it turned out she couldn’t. Lynn feels there is no way she can be broken if she wasn’t accepted in the first place.
History: There was nothing special about Lynn’s youth. Living in quite a wealthy family, and being an only child, she always had what she needed. She had two normal parents, a normal house, lived in a normal neighbourhood in Minnesota, went to a normal High School, etc. Her life wasn’t perfect, but it was good enough.
But Lynn wanted to start a modelling career. So she continued high school in New York where she wanted to live, hoping to be discovered by a modelling agency. Maybe she was too young to live in New York on her own, but she felt like she could take the responsibility, and her parents trusted her. So at the age of 15, she moved into an apartment where she lived alone.
In New York, she was immediately found by a modelling agency saying she got a job as a model. For one year years, she did modelling work everywhere around New York and made a lot of money. She loved being a model. It was hard work though, and it always amazed her how superficial some people could be, especially when it came to modelling. But it was her dream, and now she could live it. But after one year of doing what she loved to do, the agency kicked her out. She was broken, her dream was destroyed. But she decided to stay in new York anyway, trying to live her second dream. Writing and singing lyrics. Unfortunately, that didn’t work out.
During her time as a model, she hooked up with James Parlor, an English guy who lived in New York for a little while. It was love at first sight. And a few weeks dating, he already moved in with her. Though Lynn was only 16 years old, James was 18 years old. She knew it may be too early to live in New York alone and let a guy you hardly know move in with you. But she’d always felt like she could take care of herself, and apparently, she could.
Lynn always believed they were meant to be together. And after a few months of fun, friends and passion, he proposed. And she said yes. No matter how early it might have been. She believed this was true love. That the one you were meant to be with comes by only once, and you should take the opportunity once you can. This was her chance. She loved him. And they were getting married. She had never been happier. She was engaged to a wonderful guy, who she loved more then anyone in the world. The wedding was planned, everything was set. But one week before they were supposed to get married, James was murdered. He just vanished from her life, from everyone’s life. He was just walking along the streets of New York, when a bunch of street thugs killed him. For no reason. They just wrecked Lynn’s life. For no reason.
Lynn seems over it, but that’s not the case. She never stopped loving him, though her outside doesn’t show her problems. She never told anyone about James’ disappearance, but tells people he had changed his mind and didn't want to get married to soon, because he had to leave New York and head back to London.
Living alone in a fairly big apartment, having quite a lot of money, but still broken up inside, she decided to go do the thing that made her feel better. Shopping. She has an eye for fashion and bought anything she laid eyes on. But she knew she couldn’t go on like this. She was going to run out of money some day. And what was she to do? Pack her stuff and move her sorry little ass back into her parents house? That was the last thing she wanted. She hád to make money, so she started writing things. Just, little stories, poems, lyrics, and singing them, hoping to be discovered and offered a job at a magazine or a record company.. But she wasn’t.
She was more then happy to receive the invitation to join Mansion Mania, and get away from her life in New York. This way she’d have more time to think about what to do next, and live a somewhat normal life in the meantime.
