Aiden kicked the door open to his room and peered around listlessly. Great, he'd have a roomie. What was it with these places and always making people share a room? He frowned and tossed his duffel onto the bed to the left of the door. Inspecting the room inch by inch; as this would probably be the last of his privacy, he quickly descovered there was no washroom. Only two beds, two dressers, a small desk and a window.
Sighing, he opened his duffel and yanked out his clothes; tee-shirt followed tee-shirt into one drawer of the bureau set just at the foot of his bed. Then came his pants and shorts, chased quickly by sweatshirts. Finally, as his bag was deflated item-by-item, Aiden shoved it under his bed and perched on the edge of his matress.

"They HAVE to plunk TWO complete STRANGERS in the same ROOM and EXPECT them to just--" Clark stopped midway of his ranting as he pushed open the door and realized the room was not empty. "Oh. Hi. Clark Cross." As expected, he crossed the room, dumped his bags in a random corner, and held his hand out for the taller guy to shake. Hopefully he wasn't some birdbrained jock, as his build suggested. Then again, Clark was never a stereotype person. Get to know him now. You don't necessarily have to TALK to him.

Aiden's brow shot up as he heard the ranting floating in from the hall- louder and louder until the frame of a rather disheveled boy appeared in the doorway. The look of suprise, and perhaps discust at Clark's words, dissapeared from Aiden's face as he offered his hand. Taking it- he shook firmly, and recoiled back onto his bed, "Aiden Nash."
It was apparent that Clark didn't exactly enjoy the idea of having a room-mate; this might be more difficult than Aiden had origonally thought. He blew out a breath and glanced around the room- hardly big enough for the two to stay out of eachother's way, "Well, seeing as how this room isn't that big, and this mansion allows for only so much space between persons, I'd say we're probably not going to be strangers for long." he shrugged and offered Clark a lop-sided smile.

He managed a smile back, just to show that he wasn't entirely an introvert (not yet anyway). "Yeah, not much of a mansion when it comes to furnishing, but at least that means there's not a very good chance of anyone having a sleepover." He grinned, claiming one of the beds by crashing down on it with a sigh of relief. "No, I'm not antisocial... maybe just suffering from bad impressions of modern adolescence," he said, more to himself than to Aiden. "I wonder when we meet everyone else, though. I don't really think it's rich or classy people that have been invited, since I'm one of them, so I guess we're just completely random kids."
He stopped talking, mentally checking if he had brought everything he needed. This place was going to get really confusing once everyone started scattering their things around and not cleaning up messes. Maybe it would help if they all got together and talked about it? Later, he told himself firmly, deciding to think about the first assignment instead. Whatever that could be.

Aiden listened quietly and nodded wryly- all too true. Though Aid hadn't even had much of a childhood, so that barely counted. Rich, classy people... Aiden's mouth opened and he let out a short, booming laugh, "Well- I'll tell you know, if riches and class were pre-requisets for this case study, I'm in the wrong place." he grinned and stood up, smoothing he wrinkles out of his tee-shirt and pulling up his pants a wee bit- they tended to slid down a little, though not too much like those boys with them around their ankles.
"I think I'm um... going to go..." he shrugged and glanced back at Clark sprawled out on the bed, "Explore."

He nodded back, getting up to look out the window. "I'll just unpack a bit more of my stuff for a few minutes, and then head out too. Let me know if anything big happens." The truth was that he really needed some time alone, being more homesick than he'd ever tell a soul. It was stupid to miss everyone else, but for some reason Clark found himself wanting... not exactly school, but a set routine. Knowing what would happen to him everyday. He laughed--it wasn't really because he was happy, but because he wanted to break the silence--and shook his head. "Amazing! I've only met 1 person in the entire project! At least you didn't turn out to be an emptyheaded sport-obsessed jock. No offense." That made him laugh at himself, and with that Clark turned back to his suitcase and started taking out clothes.
