Layla liked the gardens at the Mansion. They were big and pretty, with lots of space and were easy to find your way around in. Layla had been having a lot of these gardens. She had already been here once today, and it was the perfect opportunity to relax after all those people and everyone. Unwind, like.
Layla was sitting on the bank, her legs over the side and her toes swishing the silver water. Occasionally a fish would peck at her toes, making Layla laugh out loud. Yes, 'twas glorious to relax and be calm after times of noise. All she could hear right now was the river, the birds and the wind ruffling the leaves of elegant trees. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.

Walking outside for the first time today, Eloisa sucked in as much of the fresh air as possible. She had thrown on a light, brown jacket before going outside, as it seemed rather breezy. As she had just met what was obviously the rest of the inhabitants of the mansion, she felt sort of energized, and wanted to find something to do. Spotting someone familiar at the bank, she called out
“Hi there, Layla!” She smiled as she approached. Her hands were tucked into the pockets of her jacket, and her hair was blowing in the gentle wind as she walked. As she reached Layla, she sat down next to her. "Collecting your thoughts?" She asked, smiling cheekily. Hoping Layla would be up for some fun afterwards, her eyes glinted.

Layla smiled. Here was Eloisa, coming to brighten the day. 'Cause she seemed to, like an invisible lightbulb in a black room. Layla let out a giggle as a fish nibbled at her toes, shivering as a cold draft of wind slid down her spine. Even her black overtop couldn't prevent that nifty wind. Curse you Aquascan! she thought. It was from Finding Nemo, and she loved it. It was her phrase when she jokingly cursed anything.
+Yep. Before they all get scattered as we do something outrageously stupid+
Layla laughed. She did feel like doing something mischevous. Maybe it was just a one-off thing.

Smiling mischievously, Eloisa pulled off her trainers and folded up her jeans to knee-height. She plumped her feet into the water, making it fly water droplets up at both herself and Layla. Giggling as she got wet, she shivered as a cold breeze hit her at the same time. Not really sure what to talk about, Eloisa let her feet play in the water. Suddenly a glint appeared in her eye and she looked over at Layla. Surely that glint would make anyone know something was going to happen. But what?
Slowly, she let her hand slide down into the water, and BAM! She splashed it over in the direction of Layla. Smiling triumphantly, she raised her chin as if to tell the world that this was a girl who could do anything.
((OOC: I'm SO sorry it took so long to answer on this thread... Seriously, I wrote this reply ages ago... But my internet decided to flop and then I didn't use this machine again today and... yeah well...))

Layla shrieked, standing up and glaring at Eloisa in a good-humoured way. She had seen that little glint in Eloisa's eye, but too late. Not she was pretty much drenched, not a good look.
+Eloisa! You are so gonna pay for that!+
Layla scooped up her own handful of water and flung it at Eloisa. Too late she realised she had caught a fish too.
(OOC: No problemo)

Not as much as glancing towards Layla, Eloisa sat there, smiling innocently and pretending nothing had happened. Of course, she had expected a sort of revenge from Layla, but that fish came slightly unexpectantly. Feeling it slap against her cheek, she gave a shriek that could penetrate walls and jumped up from the shore. Her hand went frantically over her cheek, trying to get rid of the sticky gue. In the beginning she probably seemed rather angry, but after a while of frantic arm movements, she fell down on her knees in the grass, laughing. “I’m gonna pay you back for that one some time!” She said through streams of laughter. “When you least expect it!” Caressing her cheek, her laughter faded into a warm smile.

Layla looked at Eloisa agape, in shock. Oh, she hadn't meant for a fish to be there! Laughing nervously, she watched as Eloisa wiped the goo off her face and looked murderous. But when Eloisa started giggling and spoke, Layla breathed a sigh of relief. At least she wasn't in a fight with her roomate. That'd be bad.
+Sure sure. Whadd'ya gonna do, put a frog in my bed?+
And Layla clapped her hands in front of her mouth mockingly with the expression of someone who had just told a huge secret plastered across her face.

A highly mischievous grin appeared on Eloisa’s face. “We’ll see...” Deciding not to go back by the fishy stream, she just stayed seated where she was. Still caressing her cheek where the fish had hit her, she looked up at Layla in a hurt sort of way. It was obvious that she was just joking, but she wanted to see how long it would take until Layla cracked. She didn’t manage to supress a giggle, though, when she thought about what her mother would say when she found out fishwater had been splattered at the very expensive top. Her eyes glinted as she looked at Layla.

Layla smiled slightly, looking at Eloisa happily. When a giggle escaped from Eloisa, Layla replayed the scene in her head. Pick up, flying..., SPLAT! Layla joined in, laughing. 'Twas so much fun! Remembering her own endeavour with a fish, Layla giggled some more. It had gone DOWN HER TOP. Eureka!

Eloisa pulled her hair back with both her hands, stretching out as she did so. The smile didn't escape her lips for a second. Her thoughts went back, sucking up everything she had learnt today. Suddenly her face froze, and she had an almost embarassed look on her face. How come I didn't think of that before? She stared out in the air and clasped her hand on her forehead, throwing herself down in the grass. "Oh, my god!" She now lay on her back with both hands clasped over her face.

Layla watched Eloisa with reserved enthusiasm. Huh? Running her hands through her now damp hair, she looked at herself. Not looking that great. Wet, bedraggled and messy. She tied her hair in a loose plait, pulling at her top to get the water off, and wiping her jeans down. Surveying herself again, she could have looked better. But although the street-urchin look didnt appeal to Layla, she shrugged and sat down, tipping her head and looking inquisitively at Eloisa.
+Whats up?+

”Uhm…” Eloisa placed her hands firmly on the ground and pushed up her back. “Cameras in the bedrooms...” She said confused. Now feeling kind of stupid – It wasn’t really such a big deal as she was making it seem. Or... Well, to her it was. Doubting strongly that Layla knew what she was talking about, she shrugged her shoulders, pushing the matter away. “It’s nothing, just forget it.” She let her right hand slide over her left one, scratching herself as she did.

Layla nodded as if she understood, but trying to puzzle it out in her brain. What the...? Oh well. I'll just forget it. She lay down, putting her hands behind her neck and using them as a headrest. Quite comfortable, she thought, as she looked up into the very blue sky. What a pretty day. Looking over to Eloisa, she spoke.
+We're only allowed out on Fridays, right?+
(OOC: Ooh, that reminds me. Gotta change Sim time)
